It's unbelievable how fast the year 2025 has gone. It feels like we just had Christmas 2024, and to think that we only have 24 days left to Christmas 2025, is pretty shocking!
What a year it has been! On the work front, there has been no change there, worked hard, please don't ask me about career progression and pay! I had two job interviews, but it wasn't my time. As they say, "God's time is the best", so it wasn't his time.
Healthwise, I had an operation in January and it went well, thanks be to God. Health is gold, and I am glad to be well :).
Lessons learned this year? Well, I have been learning about finances, how to build wealth, and AI etc on YouTube. AI is the word in 2025! Learning about it, using it at home and at work. One "can't be left behind", you know. I remember learning about AI at University in the mid-1990s and it felt like some sci-fi at the time. Here we are, many years later and it's all you hear about now. To be honest, I'm loving using what I have learnt so far because it's making my job easier, saving me a lot of time.
I am also learning how to worry less especially about the things that I can't control, learning to leave those types of things to God. It brings me more peace. This is not easy to do, and I can truly say that it's a work in progress because I'm naturally a worrier, which is a terrible habit to have.
Otherwise, a lot has happened this year, but life goes on. I try to do my best for myself and for the people around me. God bless!
